The Protection Order Portal (POP) is a system offered through the Protection Order Advocacy Program (POAP) which is a part of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. All King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office systems and employees may be subject to public disclosure pursuant to RCW ch. 42.56. All employees of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office are mandated reporters pursuant to RCW 26.44.030 and RCW 74.34.035.
Civil protection order cases are considered matters of public record and all filed documents must be provided to the person you are filing against. Please be mindful with the information you disclose.
